A live location map is rendered on your device and stamped into the corner of your capture.

Videos are stamped live while you record — nothing to process afterwards — and photos are stamped at full quality the moment you shoot. Mute or unmute the sound while you record.

Shoot in 1:1, 4:3, 16:9 or the full frame, with HD, Full HD or 4K video — and 8K, 60 fps at Full HD and 4K, and video stabilisation on phones that support them — what you see in the viewfinder is exactly what you save. Options depend on your plan.

Press a volume button to take a photo or start and stop a video — handy with gloves or a phone mount. On by default; turn it off in Settings.

Every capture is signed with a hardware-backed key that never leaves your phone. Check any file later, fully offline, and export a verification report or a complete evidence package.

Add UTM/MGRS grid references, altitude, speed and direction, plus magnetic field and battery level, to your GeoStamp.

Start from ready-made designs, then build your own (custom templates on Plus & Pro): put the fields in any order, size each line in 5% steps, and scale the whole GeoStamp down to fit your photos. The map keeps a minimum size so its attribution stays readable in every photo and video.

Use the app in your language on every plan; on Pro, stamp the GeoStamp in your language too, with on-device translation of addresses by Google Translate’s models (Google ML Kit) — the language pack downloads only after you agree, and translated addresses are marked “Translated by Google”. A GeoStamp compass and your own file-name pattern for field-ready exports — with zero-padded sequence numbers (007, 0007…) that start from the number you choose. Files keep that name when you save them to your phone gallery.

Photo and video thumbnails in eight views (icons, list, details, tiles, content), sorted and grouped by date, type or collection, with search, Select all / Deselect all and video playback with mute. Save to your phone gallery only when you choose — with the same file name and details.

See your captures on a map. Captures within 20 metres share one marker that shows how many there are; tap a marker to open exactly those photos and videos in the gallery. Filter by date — today, yesterday, this week, this month, the last 7 or 30 days, this year, last year, or a range you pick.

Open any capture's details: when it was taken, where — with one tap to open it in Google Maps — its file name, size, resolution, length and local path, and the photo's EXIF camera data. Saved locations open in Google Maps too.

Rear and front camera together, on every plan: picture-in-picture (drag, resize, round or rounded window), split screen, or a linked photo pair — double-tap either camera to swap them. On phones that run both cameras at once you see both live, both photos are taken at the same instant, and Dual video records both. Other phones take the two photos in a quick burst. The second view is placed away from your GeoStamp and fits every aspect ratio, and the photo's EXIF lists both cameras.

One press, two files: every photo or video is also saved in the other orientation, cropped from the middle of the same frame — each with its own GeoStamp, on every plan.

Brighter photos and videos in the dark: the camera lets in more light — hold the phone steady, as moving things can blur.

Measure in AR before you take the photo, on phones that support Google Play Services for AR: one distance per photo on Free; distances, paths, area, rectangles, circles and slope on Plus — outlines of doors, windows, signs, round covers and stains appear by themselves; crack width, volume, cylinders and depth on Pro — boxes and poles are measured by themselves (phones with depth). On every plan, points snap onto real corners and edges. No AR on your phone? Measure on the photo in the review, from a card, an A4 sheet or any length you know. Every value carries a ± estimate, the lines are drawn into the photo before it is signed, and the GeoStamp adds a measurement line only when you measured. Estimates — not for surveying, legal or safety decisions.

Draw, add shapes and text on a photo before you save it — text in Sans serif, Serif or Monospace, bold, italic or underlined, in the size you want. The GeoStamp stays protected, and the saved photo is still signed and verifiable.

Organize captures into collections and sub-collections (e.g. Holiday › Day 1), view the gallery by collection, share or save a whole collection to your phone, and export PDF reports with photos and video frames — or an Excel report with every capture's details and measurements.

Back up the captures you choose to your own Google Drive — photos, videos, kept originals, all captures or just chosen collections — or pick captures in the Gallery. Choose the Drive folder (by year and month, or by collection), and back up over Wi-Fi only or also over mobile data — in the background, checked byte for byte. Optionally free up phone space (GeoCam keeps a preview and removes only its own copy, never one you saved to your phone gallery). On a new phone, Restore from Google Drive brings them back — on every plan. GeoCam asks Google only for the files it creates and your email address; your files go straight to your Drive, never to us.

No network? The GeoStamp keeps coordinates, time and saved-location names, and verification never needs a server.

No account and no TUVAMBES server receives your media or location — your captures stay on your device, or go to your own Google Drive if you turn that on. Screenshots and screen recording are blocked inside the app.
